What should you expect?
Turning up to an outdoor Fitness session for the first time can be daunting. Here we will explain why there is nothing at all to worry about.
Your water bottles ready, trainers are on and away you go!!
When you first arrive at FitnessOutdoors you will be greeted by an instructor. Members will already be there putting their bibs on and having a general chat. You will then be asked to fill out a health questionnaire, which is standard practice for any fitness activity. Once completed we will discuss any existing injuries or problems and you will grab a bib and put it on all ready to go.
A water station is set up where you leave your water bottles. Spare water is always on hand if you ever forget. This is usually where apparatus is stored for the session.
BLAST OFF!! Straight into a warm up that loosens up the body, increases your heart rate and prepares you mentally for a workout.
Followed by 5/6 different workout sections that will push the whole of your body. From shuttles to partner exercise, tyres to sandbags, circuits to sprints. The list is endless when you train outdoors and no two sessions are the same. It will be challenging but do-able. Having plenty of laughs throughout and that added group exercise competition means the hour flies by.
Ending with a cool down and stretch off of the main areas used.
You will have fun.
You will smile at least once.
You will quickly realise how effective this type of training is.
